Ipod’s

I have been inundated lately with sites saying to buy their music for downloading and for ipod’s. Am I the only person on earth that doesn’t have an ipod? I own a Treo 650 with a 512mg card in it so that I can download music but no ipod.

If I go to Real Player I can keep and play the music I buy and play it on my device. But here goes the dumb thing, I pay for Musicmatch so that I can listen to their music, but if I buy it I can’t play it on my device, same with Windows Media player. OMG what a racket. I love music like the rest of the world but can’t any ONE site give us what we want for all devices and not have license problems in the mean time?

Seems that every site I go to says their music is better then the other guys. Also is the pod casting the only way to get news and info? What about the radio? Yes I am old. (well sorta) I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and here he goes now saying that if you subscribe  (the new big word) to his site you can now download him for listening later.

First of all why take the time and energy to pay to go to his site when you can just turn him on the radio? And secondly does the whole world pay and subscribe for everything these days. I am so sick of having to come up with ANOTHER password and put my info into each and every site that offers ANYTHING. Anyone else feel this way?
